When I was a kid, there was no surfing the web, no social media, and no digital electronic games. What we did have was jump rope, tag, and board games. In other words, we got exercise, learned to share, and enjoyed face to face communication and comradery with our friends and family. Luckily, today there is a company that provides us with those benefits by bringing us a huge selection of entertainment opportunities. We are looking forward to endless fun with Endless Games!

Founded by industry veterans Mike Gasser, Kevin McNulty, and game inventor Brian Turtle, Endless Games specializes in games that offer classic entertainment and hours of fun at affordable prices. The three have an uncanny ability for discovering and developing hit games. Their past successes include Trivial Pursuit™, Pictionary® and Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon™.

The general principle of Endless Games is to produce high-quality entertainment in board games that are quick and easy to learn but offer “Endless” play value. This theme runs through the line of classic games like Kismet and Mancala as well as home versions of the iconic TV game show The Family Feud. Newer, adult party games like That Was Awkward and #Hashtagit, and family games Name 5 and 60-Second Slam also maintain this model for instantly addictive fun!

From ages 4 to 104, Endless Games offers card games, party games, word games, trivia games, family games, and pop culture games for everyone.

I was given the opportunity to experience two of their awesome games – Traffic Cop and The Floor Is Lava. Both of these games encourage kids to become active participants and not just couch potatoes.

TRAFFIC COP – Layout the Crosswalk Mats to build a busy intersection. Then it’s the Traffic Cop’s turn to get everyone across safely. Foam play mats allow for a customized playing area, while the spinner and Yield Challenge cards add new fun to this classic schoolyard game! Everyone has the opportunity to be the Traffic Cop … and who wouldn’t want to play the part?!?! After all, you get to wear the coveted fluorescent vest!

THE FLOOR IS LAVA – Everyone has played a version of this game as a child, most likely jumping all over the furniture in their living room trying to stay off the dangerous floor. This is a brand-new game where players must imagine the floor is molten hot lava while spinning for their color and jumping along with foam game pieces in order to reach safety. THE FLOOR IS LAVA is a family game incorporating physical activity, imagination and pure fun! Remember, DON’T TOUCH THE FLOOR!

There are so many great games from which to choose and you can check them all out on the Endless Games website and be sure to follow them on Facebook. Along with other titles, Traffic Cop and The Floor is Lava is available for purchase on Amazon.
